Sitopia is a natural retreat in the picturesque village of Kfar Uria, just a 40-minute drive from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The village itself is in the Mateh Yehuda region, also known as the Little Tuscany of Israel. It showcases the essence of honest and stylish hospitality against a backdrop of consciously crafted landscapes.
Sitopia is all about authentic, local experiences
Sitopia, which officially opened its doors to guests in February 2023, is a one-story villa, boasting four thoughtfully designed rooms, an open dining area and a bar. It also features a heated swimming pool, set within an open-air lobby with an adjacent steam room.
With authentic hospitality and local experiences at its heart, the bolthole property embodies a slow-living, farm-to-table dining ethos, using fresh produce from the estate and surrounding area.
The Story of Sitopia
Owned and run by British-Israeli mother-daughter duo, Tessa Laws and Lotte Beilin, Sitopia takes guests on a journey through this lesser-known region of the Judean Hills. The location is an ideal hideaway for nature lovers and luxury seekers, or those simply looking for some peace and quiet.
The bucolic retreat, named after the ancient Greek words for food, “sitos,” and place, “topos,” provides an idyllic setting for sleeping, eating, and exploring. Tessa and Lotte bring a fresh perspective on hospitality to the Judean Hills, welcoming visitors looking to relax and unwind in a destination that cares deeply about the local community and the environment.
